Oraways Buccal Paste 5 gm

Oraways Buccal Paste 5 gm is used for the treatment of mouth ulcers. Also, it is used to treat mouth irritation. Oraways Buccal Paste 5 gm belongs to a group of medications called corticosteroids. It contains Triamcinolone which works by reducing inflammation. It adheres to oral lesions, providing a localised anti-inflammatory effect.

Use Oraways Buccal Paste 5 gm as advised by your doctor. Oraways Buccal Paste 5 gm may cause side effects such as burning, itching, irritation, redness or dryness of the treated area. These side effects of Oraways Buccal Paste 5 gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Triamcinolone or any other ingredients of Oraways Buccal Paste 5 gm, tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before using Oraways Buccal Paste 5 gm. Inform your doctor if you have bacterial or fungal infections of the throat or mouth. If you are taking any other supplements or medicines, inform your doctor.

It is for external use only. Do not swallow. Check the label for directions before use. Apply the required quantity of Oraways Buccal Paste 5 gm on the affected area after meals or at bedtime as directed by your doctor. Gently spread it on the affected area. Do not rub the paste in, as it will become grainy, crumbly, or gritty. Do not eat or drink immediately after applying Oraways Buccal Paste 5 gm.

Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight

Drug-disease interactions: If you have viral skin infections (chickenpox or cold sores), bacterial or fungal infections of the throat or mouth, tuberculosis, stomach ulcer or diabetes, consult a doctor before using Oraways Buccal Paste 5 gm.

• Avoid foods that irritate your mouth, such as acidic fruits, nuts, chips, and spicy foods. Instead, pick non-acidic fruits and vegetables and whole grains. Eat a well-balanced diet and consider taking a multivitamin daily.
• To minimize unintentional bites, try to avoid talking while you are chewing food.
• Maintain proper oral hygiene by brushing your teeth after meals and flossing every day.
• Reduce your stress.
• Avoid hard-bristled toothbrushes and mouthwashes containing alcohol or sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS).

Mouth sores: These are the painful lesions or swelling that occur inside the lower lips, gums, or tongue. This causes difficulty in eating and drinking.
