Description
Buscogast Tablet is used to relieve abdominal and irritable bowel syndrome pain, cramps, and discomfort. It may also be used for diagnostic and therapeutic medical procedures where spasms might be a problem, such as gastroduodenal endoscopy, and to produce smooth muscle relaxation prior to radiological procedures like pyelography.
Buscogast Tablet contains ‘Hyoscine butylbromide’ that stops muscle contractions by relaxing the muscles in the stomach, intestine, and bladder. Thereby providing relief from cramps, discomfort, and pain.
Take Buscogast Tablet as prescribed. In some cases, Buscogast Tablet may cause side effects such as dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, abnormal/reduced sweating, and fast heart rate. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
Do not take Buscogast Tablet if you are pregnant, likely to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. Buscogast Tablet may cause blurred vision, so drive only if you are alert. Buscogast Tablet is not recommended for children below 6 years as the safety and effectiveness have not been established. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medicines to rule out any side effects.
