About Alfusin T 2.5 Tablet

Alfusin T 2.5 Tablet is used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Benign prostatic hyperplasia occurs due to non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland due to the multiplication of the cells. Benign prostatic hypertrophy/hyperplasia mostly occurs in older men.

Alfusin T 2.5 Tablet consists of Alfuzosin and Tadalafil. Alfuzosin helps relax the prostate muscles and the bladder’s opening. At the same time, Tadalafil works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder. The combination of alfuzosin and Tadalafil exerts an additive relaxant effect on the human detrusor (a muscle forming a bladder wall layer) and prostatic tissues. Thus, it helps in relieving the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia and makes it easier to pass urine.

Depending on your medical condition, you are advised to take Alfusin T 2.5 Tablet for as long as your doctor prescribes it. Sometimes, you may experience common side effects such as headaches, dizziness, feeling sick (nausea), facial flushing and hot flushes, indigestion, stuffy nose, muscle aches, diarrhoea, stomach pain and dry mouth.
