About Candid-V6 Tablet
Candid-V6 Tablet is used to treat vaginal thrush (candidiasis). Vaginal thrush (candidiasis) is an infection of the vagina and/or vulva caused by candida.
Candid-V6 Tablet comprises clotrimazole, which works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. Candid-V6 Tablet eliminates the infection by causing holes in the fungal cell membrane and allows the components to leak out, thus killing the fungus.
Use Candid-V6 Tablet as recommended by the physician. In some cases, Candid-V6 Tablet may cause abdominal pain, vulvovaginal pain, nausea, and application site reactions, including itching, burning sensation, and irritation. These side effects of Candid-V6 Tablet eventually subside without medical intervention. Consult your doctor immediately if any side effects worsen or persist.
Do not use Candid-V6 Tablet if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of its components. Candid-V6 Tablet is for vaginal use only. Do not swallow. If you are pregnant, planning to have a baby, or are a nursing mother, you should not use Candid-V6 Tablet without a doctor’s advice. Tampons and other vaginal products should not be used while on treatment with Candid-V6 Tablet. Avoid using Candid-V6 Tablet during the menstrual period (menses); wait until menses is over.

You should not use tampons and other vaginal products while using Candid-V6 Tablet. You may wear a mini-pad or sanitary napkin to prevent the medicine from staining your clothes.

- Shower regularly and properly dry yourself before clothing.
- Take warm baths with mild soap.
- Don’t share your bedding, towels, or clothes.
- Wearing tights or tight underwear is not recommended.
- Do not scratch the infected area. Scratching the infected skin area may spread the illness to other body parts.
- Avoid harsh soaps and deodorants or any other products.
- Avoid intercourse till the thrush has been treated.
- Limit or cut down your consumption of alcohol and caffeine.
- Reduce your intake of sugar, yeast, refined carbohydrates, and mouldy foods.

Vaginal Thrush:Â Vaginal thrush (candidiasis) is an infection of the vagina and/or vulva caused by the yeast germ candida. It is also known as candidiasis. This condition can cause white vaginal discharge (often smelling like cottage cheese), irritation and itching around the vagina, stinging and soreness during sex or during urinating. Mild infections can be cured by taking an antifungal medication or applying an antifungal cream for one to three days. Infections that are more complicated necessitate long-term therapy.
