• Ensure all utensils are clean before preparation.
• Measure out 120 ml of lukewarm water.
• Gradually mix in 6 level scoops (approximately 50 g) of the cereal.
• Stir until the mixture has a smooth consistency.
• Check the temperature, then serve immediately. Remember, the cereal should be consumed within half an hour of preparation to maintain its nutritional value.
• CERELAC Stage 5 is recommended for two feeds per day.

• Always prepare infant food carefully and hygienically. Follow the proper method of preparation as advised.
• Use the exact number of scoops as directed. Do not use fewer or more scoops. Fewer scoops mean insufficient nutrients. More scoops mean less water for your baby.
• Transfer contents to a clean, dry, airtight container immediately after opening. Use contents within 3 weeks of opening or by the expiry date, whichever comes first.
• Wash and dry the scoop thoroughly before each use.
• Store the container in a cool, dry place. Replace the lid tightly after every use.
• Remember, mother’s milk is best for your baby. Introduce infant food only after six months and up to two years of age. Use infant food only on the advice of a health worker. Infant food should not be the only source of nourishment.
• Use prepared feed within half an hour to avoid microbial growth. Throw away any unused feed after 30 minutes.
