About Calcimax D Suspension

Calcimax D Suspension is used to treat calcium and vitamin D deficiency. A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body does not absorb/get enough nutrients from food. Calcimax D Suspension may be used in the management of hypocalcaemia in patients undergoing dialysis, post-menopausal osteoporosis, low calcium levels in hypoparathyroidism, osteomalacia, osteoporosis in males, renal tubular osteocalcaemia, vitamin D dependant rickets, hypocalcaemia and hypomagnesaemia.

Calcimax D Suspension is a combination of four supplements: Elemental Calcium, Vitamin D, Elemental Magnesium, and Elemental Zinc. Elemental Calcium makes the bones stronger by increasing their density. It helps in treating and preventing low calcium levels. Vitamin D helps in the absorption of calcium. Elemental Magnesium aids in the absorption of calcium by converting vitamin D into its active form. Elemental Zinc is necessary for bone-building cells, normal growth, and tissue repair. Together, Calcimax D Suspension helps strengthen bones.

You are advised to take Calcimax D Suspension for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you, depending on your medical condition. Drug Interactions

Drug-Drug Interaction: Calcimax D Suspension may interact with fits medicines (phenytoin, phenobarbital), corticosteroids (cortisone), and antibiotics.

Drug-Food Interaction: Maintain a gap of two hours between Calcimax D Suspension and foods containing oxalic acid and phytic acids, such as spinach, rhubarb, and whole-grain cereals.
