Sofinox Cream is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, infected cuts and abrasions, infected eczema and contact dermatitis.
Sofinox Cream contains ‘Sodium fusidate’ that works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby, Sofinox Cream helps in treating skin infections.
Sofinox Cream is generally well-tolerated. However, it may cause mild stinging sensation and irritation in some cases. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. If the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
Do not use Sofinox Cream if you are allergic to any of its components. Consult your doctor before using Sofinox Cream if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid contact of Sofinox Cream with eyes, nose or mouth; if contact occurs accidentally, rinse thoroughly with water.
