About Mycospor Cream

Mycospor Cream belongs to the class of antifungal primarily used to treat fungal infections. An infection occurs when a fungus invades and affects the tissue on the skin. Fungi can live in the air, soil, water and plants. Symptoms of a fungal infection include skin rash, irritation, redness, and scaling of the skin.

Mycospor Cream contains ‘bifonazole’, which belongs to the imidazole antifungal group that kills fungi by causing holes in their cell membrane, thereby leaking all content. Thus Mycospor Cream improves your skin infection.

Use this Mycospor Cream as advised by the doctor. Common side effects of Mycospor Cream skin rash, scaling, redness of the skin, and dry skin. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. If these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Mycospor Cream. It is essential to tell your doctor if you use any other azole antifungal before using Mycospor Cream, otherwise, using another antifungal may lead to overdose and toxicity. Let your doctor know if you have liver diseases, kidney diseases, heart diseases, or human immunodeficiency virus. Mycospor Cream and mineral oil additive in Mycospor Cream may weaken rubber product’s activities of contraceptive devices, latex condoms, diaphragms, and cervical caps. Mycospor Cream should not be used in the eye. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use Mycospor Cream with proper consultation and caution.

Directions for Use

Do not use Mycospor Cream on the face and avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and nose. Do not put a bandage or a dressing on the affected area while using Mycospor Cream unless advised by the doctor.
