KETOFRESH CT CREAM

Ketofresh CT Cream is used to treat skin infections. Skin infections occur when germs such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites invade the skin and cause irritation, redness, and other issues.

Ketofresh CT Cream contains Ketoconazole, Tolnaftate, Clobetasol Propionate, Neomycin, and Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline. Ketoconazole stops the growth of fungi by causing damage and leakage to the fungal cell membrane. Tolnaftate works by stopping the growth of fungi that cause skin infections. Clobetasol Propionate works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Neomycin works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for the survival of the bacteria. Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline belongs to the class of antifungals with additional antibacterial action. Together, Ketofresh CT Cream helps in treating skin infections.

In some cases, Ketofresh CT Cream may cause side effects such as skin peeling, dryness, burning sensation, irritation, stinging sensation, itching and redness at the application site. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not use Ketofresh CT Cream if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of its components. Ketofresh CT Cream is for external use only. Do not swallow. If you are pregnant, planning to have a baby, or are a nursing mother, you should not use Ketofresh CT Cream without a doctor’s advice. Do not use Ketofresh CT Cream in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for longer, as it may cause adverse effects. Unless your doctor advises, do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless your doctor advises. Do not apply Ketofresh CT Cream on children’s skin unless prescribed by the doctor.

Treatment of Skin infections

Ketofresh CT Cream is a cocktail of medications used to treat skin infections caused by microorganisms like bacteria and fungi. It kills and inhibits the growth of infection-causing microorganisms, effectively clearing the infection and relieving symptoms. It also inhibits the release of chemicals that cause symptoms like itchiness, redness, and swelling. As a result, this medicine reduces the inflammation caused by these infections. Even if your symptoms go away, you should continue to use Ketofresh CT Cream for the duration prescribed; otherwise, they may return. Depending on the infection, this could take several weeks. Even if your infection has been completely cured, you may need to apply it on a regular basis to keep the symptoms from returning.

Ketofresh CT Cream is for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area. Apply Ketofresh CT Cream directly onto the affected area and gently massage it in.

Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight

It is recommended not to use Ketofresh CT Cream if you are allergic to any component present, so inform your doctor about your sensitivities with medicines and foods. Also, let your doctor know about your medical condition and the medications you are currently using. Do not use any other drugs with Ketofresh CT Cream without a doctor’s recommendation. Do not use Ketofresh CT Cream unless prescribed by the doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Consult your doctor if your condition does not improve despite using Ketofresh CT Cream for 2-4 weeks.
